I've been going to buy the DVD 'Simply Raw' for some time now. If you haven't heard of it, it's a documentary in which a group of six people with diabetes (both type 1 and type 2 diabetes) switch to a diet consisting entirely of vegan, organic, uncooked foods for 30 days in order to reverse their diabetes without pharmaceutical medication. The six are challenged to give up meat, dairy, sugar, alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, soda, junk food, fast food, processed food, packaged food, and even cooked food for 30 days while their results are monitored and their journey filmed. Do you think that most people would happily consume white flour if they knew that it was damaging the cells in their pancreas? Would you? You have to watch this interview! This truck driver has lost now over 200 pounds (178 in at the time of this video). Cured his diabetes in 4 days. Cured his stage 2 bowel cancer in 6 months. Cured his kidney disease. Went from 24 medications to 5 at the time of this video (probably none now - I hope!). He has medical records and MRI's to prove everything being said. Yep, I'm confessing - I'm a total control freak and couldn't handle the thought that I might one day get cancer and have no other option than to put my life in the hands of people that, from what I had seen and experienced, didn't really seem to know what they were doing when it came to 'health' and cancer in particular.
