How To Make Money With Amazon - My Amazonian Profit Plan Review...

So, what is the Amazonian Profit Plan?

Let me first tell you it’s got nothing to do with Jungles or the Amazon, but it does have everything to do with making money as an Amazon affiliate! (Amazon the website – not Amazon the jungle just to be clear….) Ok we’ve now got that sorted.

How did I come across the Amazonian Profit Plan?

So I came across this book when it was first released by it’s creators – Paula and Wanda from Canberra here in Australia – after becoming a bit of a fan of Paula and Wanda from their website “Affiliate Blog Online“.

As soon as their new ebook was released I bought it and I read it twice the that day, then started following their instructions to create product reviews that sell and sell they do. If you’ve read my last posting, you’ll see that my conversion rates with Amazon have gone up from 0.05% to 0.29% – that’s a massive jump! and while it might not sound like much, it converts to real $$$$ and means my conversion has multiplied by a massive 600% from what it was prior to my using their review system.

So what’s it all about?

What the girls from Canberra have done is spent a good number of years finding out what works and what doesn’t!

They’ve been doing product reviews for around 7 years now (I think?) and it took them a good 5 or 6 years to really hit the nail on the head and create a system that does the job. This is what they are sharing in this book at the request of their blog readers.

I reckon that Paula and Wanda have done a great job of writing Amazonian Profit Plan. It’s sequenced well with the steps that need to be taken to create a great product review, all in order and they’ve made it a really simple system to follow.

First please note – Amazonian Profit Plan (APP) requires that you have some experience with setting up your website etc. It doesn’t go into the nuts and bolts of building a website that a real newbie might require, so if you don’t already have a site or have the experience to set your site up yourself, then this book might not be for you just yet. However it you’ve got a site or you know how to create one and you’re looking for a way to monetize it that works then this ebook is a great learning tool!

Paula and Wanda start off at the beginning of the book talking about their history and their story so far, with regard to affiliate marketing. They quite honestly discuss their internet marketing errors and the things they’ve learned over the years of plugging away, learning to make money on the internet and they tell how they’ve now come to be teaching you how to make money on the internet with Amazon via their ebook.

Setting up an Amazon associate account and how Amazon commission works

They explain in the book how the Amazon commission structure works and how it is possible to make a lot of money promoting Amazon products even though the commission structure starts at only 4%.

Then they run you through how to set up an Associate account with Amazon so that you can promote and review Amazon products. If you haven’t been to Amazon lately, you best go have a look. Research - Both product and keyword research are really important!

Next they walk you through exactly how to do your research – ie how to find top selling products on Amazon that you can be sure will sell and they have a set criteria to follow when choosing products to review that will help to ensure your success.

They then teach you step by step how to do your keyword research – this is a really important part of anything that you put on a website if you want people to find your review for the right keywords. The results of your research will give you specific keywords or keyword phrases to target when writing your review and also when it comes to creating all important backlinks to get your review ranking in the search engines. You don’t just want any old traffic to your product review – you want targeted buyers that are looking to buy that product and that’s what your keyword research and backlinking efforts will provide!

Competition?

APP then shows you how to check out the competition. The theory that the girls use is that it doesn’t matter how many competing websites or pages there are on the web, it is how strong those pages are that counts and I tend to think their argument makes sense. If you’re up against really old sites that have masses of quality backlinks pointing to them then you might struggle to beat them in the search engine rankings, but if you’re up against a million pages that are topped by young weak web sites that provide little competition then chances are you’re laughing.

…and writing the review

Finally, the review time comes and the girls have done a great job in APP of providing a step by step guide to writing good quality product reviews. They teach you how to systematically lay it out as well as how to find the information that you need to make it a great review and provide the information that your readers are looking for. They teach you how to write product reviews for products that you might start off knowing nothing about – but I can tell you that you’ll know about those products by the time you’re finished!

SEO and backlinking

Last, but not least by any stretch of the imagination they talk about backlinking. The tell how they do it and what their strategies are. The backlinking part of the book could possibly have been a bit more in depth according to some, but this is the way that they do it and so that’s what they’ve shared. I think that most internet marketers devise their own ways and find what works for them. Wanda and Paula’s results prove that their backlinking strategy works because not only are they getting plenty of traffic to their sites and making plenty of money, but they also were not affected in the recent Google overhaul which did affect many other internet marketers negatively – so they’re doing something right!

My opinion of this book?

I love it and I’m a fan! I think that Wanda and Paula’s honesty and integrity shine through in this book and they wrote it with a genuine desire to help others to succeed. They’ve done that in this book. Their step by step system can be followed by anyone (yes even you…) who wants to give it a go and the price tag of $97 it is worth every penny. Follow their system and you’ll have made your money back in no time plus more!

I don’t think that there’s any one system or teacher out there that has all the answers for everyone in their product, but I think that using the Amazonian Profit Plan system can create a very successful business on it’s own if you learn it and work at it. It’s not a get quick rich scheme – there’s no such thing. But it’s a great get rich slowly, then a bit faster and a bit faster and faster scheme if you’re willing to put in the consistent time and learning.

So what it comes down to is that you have two options – you can carry on fumbling around and making your own mistakes and you’ll probably take years (if ever) to figure out your own system for making money with Amazon, or you can do what I’ve learned that all successful people do and learn from someone who has paved the way before you.
