My Review of Food Matters – The Movie

I bought my copy of Food Matters (Click here to go directly to FoodMatters.tv) probably about 18 months ago – I think around the time it was first released. It really is an eye opener into the causes of the epidemic of chronic disease in our Western nations.

Food Matters features experts on nutrition and health such as Phillip Day, Andrew Saul, Charlotte Gerson, David Wolfe, Dr Dan Rogers, Prof. Ian Brighthope, Dr Victor Zeines, and Jerome Burne. The movie is very detailed and they talk about how food can be used to cure all manner of illnesses from cancer, heart disease and diabetes to depression and mental illness. The fact is that as much as the media tells us that the next cure for cancer is ‘only a 5 or 10 years away’ (and has been for the last 30 years) – it’s not.

The cure for cancer, as well as all these chronic disease that we seem plagued with lies in what we put into our bodies – how much nutrition our cells are getting and how many toxins and chemicals our bodies have to deal with and are able to get rid of.

Food Matters discusses the problems with our food supply, the fact that we are gorging down massive amounts of food, but are suffering from malnutrition at the same time. It also discusses the fact that when things go wrong, we’ve been programmed to reach for a pill to fix it and that the ‘take a pill to fix it‘ thinking doesn’t work. To fix the problem, we must address the cause.

The Food Matters movie discusses what we should be eating – organic foods and superfoods and really, truly healthy foods – not the food pyramid that we’ve been advised to follow by government departments and the medical system. In Food Matters they point out how ridiculous it is that the food fed to patients in hospitals is devoid of nutrients, overly processed junk that is doing nothing to promote or assist the health and rehabilitation of the patients.

This movie can help you change your life. It can help you change your health and the way you look at food and what you put into your body. If you have children or are planning on having children, then watching this movie is even more important.

This movie is a great start to educating yourself about how to stay healthy and keep your family healthy. It will help you to see through the marketing madness that is causing the confusion of most of the population and leading to the epidemics of chronic diseases in our society.

A large part of my reason for creating this website is to do precisely that – help as many people to get educated as possible because it makes me sad and angry that companies with faceless people at the helm are making decisions and creating junk products that are taking your money, stealing your health and taking you for a ride. They are marketing to you, junk – junk that is robbing you of your health and they take your money for that and make massive profits.

I know that if enough people get educated and begin to change their spending habits and the demand for real food that promotes real health increases, companies will change what they do. It’s happened in the past and it can happen again. Learn how to be healthy and then vote with your spending power.
