Do I Have A Zinc Deficiency? Infographic
Do I have a zinc deficiency? This is a much searched topic and so I guess it’s a common question, but that’s probably because Zinc deficiency is so common.
I created this info-graphic with common signs and symptoms to help you work out if you might need to supplement with zinc, or if maybe you’re showing signs of Pyroluria.
Images are user friendly and I hope it makes it easy to figure out if zinc deficiency might be an issue for you at a glance.
Have a quick look over the info-graphic below and see how many of these signs and symptoms are true for you.

Zinc deficiency is apparently very common. And of course it can be severe in those of us with (untreated) Pyroluria (Pyrrole Disorder).
This important mineral is literally used by every single system in our body. This means that a deficiency of zinc can affect and cause symptoms in any, or all body systems.
And this is why there can be such a huge variety of Pyroluria symptoms, and of course, why we are often left feeling like hypochondriacs!
I personally have experienced many of these symptoms for much of my life prior to my diagnosis, and I still have some off and on now, even with treatment, and even though many of my Pyroluria symptoms have greatly diminished.
Zinc deficiency is common even among those without Pyroluria, and can impact life and health in many ways. So feel free to share this graphic widely, pin it and help make others aware.
P.S. I personally use Thorne Zinc Picolinate and I buy it from Iherb. You can find the Thorne Zinc here. Iherb provide a great service, a huge variety of products, and they ship worldwide. I’m always happy to recommend them! 🙂
